This story was in this morning’s paper. I’m really appalled by 1) the passive-aggressive way the school is throwing all kinds of roadblocks in this kid’s way while still claiming to be “allowing her” to start the group; and 2) the fact that she wasn’t even allowed to use the name “pro-life” to describe her club.
Can you imagine the howls of protest if a school 1) threw up similar obstacles to a “Gay-Straight Alliance” or comparable group; or 2) did not allow them to use the word “gay” and instead forced them to use the term “homosexual” to describe the club???

Hang in there. You’re dead on that PC requires that any sembelance of Christianity that is not utterly bereft of meaning be squashed in the secular world, but then we knew that when we became Catholics –they crucified our leader.
Always wonder how they justify telling us not to judge, quoting Jesus, when they act in support of absolute evil against the innocent.
I too am a mother of eight. It is a great struggle to get all of them out the door, but as my wise husband said, it is no great sacrifice to be surrounded by people that love us.

It’s sad that this has to come down to legal action, but I am glad that this gal is standing up for her rights. The Bill of Rights applies to us, too…
